Chatpod Policy

The Chatpod is the members' lounge of Shofing.Dopamine: a place to talk with other collectors, show off your world and swap the pieces you own. These rules exist so the pod stays as fun, safe and classy as the rest of the experience. They are part of our Terms of Use.

WHAT'S ALLOWED

• Friendly chat, opinions and light humour.
• Talk about the pieces you own and the ones you want.
• Trade listings: attach a piece from your world and offer it to the community.
• Trade offers and swaps completed inside the app.
• Celebrating other members' collections — hype is encouraged.

WHAT'S NOT ALLOWED

• Rudeness, insults, mockery or harassment of any member.
• Hate speech, discrimination or sexual content.
• Threats, violence or anything promoting self-harm.
• Scams, fraud, fake trades or anything illegal.
• Sharing personal contact details, payment details, or asking for money off-platform.
• Spam, impersonation, or links meant to lure members elsewhere.
• Trading anything outside the app, or attaching a piece you do not own.

HOW THE AI FILTER WORKS

Every message passes through an automatic politeness check before it is published — nothing reaches the feed unreviewed.

• When you press send, your message is screened by an AI moderation service in a fraction of a second.
• If it follows the rules, it is published to the pod immediately — no queue, no waiting.
• If it breaks the rules, it is blocked before it appears: nobody else ever sees it. Only you see your own blocked message, together with a short reason, so you can adjust it and try again.
• Blocked messages are stored only for safety review and are never shown publicly.
• If the moderation service is briefly unavailable, a basic impolite-language check still runs, so the pod never loses moderation entirely.

We do not use your messages to train AI models. Message text is processed only to keep the community safe, as described in our Privacy Policy.

TRADING RULES

• You can only list and offer pieces that are actually in your collection.
• A trade completes only when the listing's owner accepts; the two pieces swap worlds instantly.
• Trades are virtual: Dopamine Credits and virtual acquisitions have no cash value.
• Off-platform deals, "pay me instead" requests or credit farming are not tolerated.

ENFORCEMENT

Repeatedly attempting to post rule-breaking messages, or finding ways around the filter, is a violation of the Ishopamine Terms of Use and can lead to losing access to the Chatpod or, in serious cases, suspension of your account.

REPORTING

If something slips past the filter, or a member makes you uncomfortable, tell us at support@ishopamine.com and we will review it. A real person always has the last word.
